Research was based on data from user-interviews + examining popular conventional models, such as e Commerce platforms, Google Analytics, Ads manager, stock market charts, and also different models of tables, lists, dashboards, etc. The platform will be used by various company employees, from different departments, and from different age groups, gender, tech level, etc. The users should be able to get data insights at a glance, and also to drill down if necessary. They won’t have any special training on the platform. Our conclusion was that the design should be responsive, intuitive and user-friendly. To achieve this we chose to use familiar mental models, simple language, a calming color palette, and clear contrast.
